LOS ANGELES, USA // Rebecca Rienks’ career spans over a dozen years and 120+ film, television and soundtrack credits, ranging from indie documentaries and critically-lauded television shows to worldwide ad campaigns and Oscar Award-winning films. For the last six years, she has been concepting, curating and executing music creative and licensing strategy across NBCUniversal’s cable television portfolio. Rebecca has contributed to multiple promo advertising wins for NBC’s Lifestyle group, including two awards expressly for music and an award-winning Super Bowl 50 commercial seen by over 100 million people.
She has been recognized by her colleagues as a Guild of Music Supervisor Awards nominee and is co-chair of the GMS Television Committee. Currently, she oversees music creative for marketing and branding for a variety of flagship NBC networks and properties, including Bravo, SYFY, E!, USA and Oxygen. Rebecca also serves as music director for all of E!’s #1-rated live events and red carpet coverage, including that of the Golden Globes, Grammys and Oscars.
Prior to joining NBCUniversal, Rebecca spent 2 ½ years working in the music department at Lionsgate Films, followed by 5+ years as an independent music supervisor.
She is a graduate of USC’s Thornton School of Music and a celebrated bourbon connoisseur.
