DUBLIN,IRELAND // Marissa is an internationally recognized sports marketing executive that has worked at the highest levels of digital and TV including Formula One, NFL, NASCAR, the PGA and now World Rugby. She is commercially driven, has led global digital strategies, international marketing campaigns, digital content teams and handled worldwide operations in multiple sports leagues.
Following three years at Formula One working for Bernie Ecclestone in London as Head of Digital, she ran her own digital marketing consultancy. In January 2019, Marissa was delighted to join World Rugby as Chief Marketing Officer. With rugby experiencing rapid global fan and participant growth, she is responsible for the international federation’s fan-engagement and marketing strategies as the sport continues to reach and inspire new audiences in rapid-growth markets.
Marissa, who originally hails from Canada, is a passionate sports fan, beekeeper and played rugby at University.
