NEW YORK, USA // Michaela Olsen is a Creative Director and partner at Mighty Oak, an animation studio whose mission is to bring the human touch back into the picture through handmade animation and design.

Michaela leads curated teams of talented makers to create unique, beautiful, and pleasantly weird videos for clients like Netflix, Adult Swim, HBO and Airbnb. As an alum and recent adjunct professor at RISD, her eye for innovative design and love of stop motion helps her fuse traditional crafty techniques with new technology.

Her wonky, award-winning short films have tickled audiences and frightened children at renowned festivals throughout the universe, including Sundance, Ottawa International Animation Festival, Palm Springs ShortFest, OutFest and more.

Michaela lives in a Brooklyn apartment with four sinks and a dog.
