Prior to joining Paramount, Hagen was the SVP of Retail Development and Global Partnership Marketing for Universal Pictures. During her 10+ year tenure at Universal Pictures, Hagen was responsible for the strategic development, creation and negotiation of Global Theatrical and DVD partnerships as well as the retail strategy and sell in for Universal Consumer Products. Hagen has worked on countless breakthrough partnership campaigns, which contributed to the development of global franchises such as Despicable Me, Fast & Furious, 50 Shades of Grey, Pitch Perfect, Jurassic World and The Secret Life of Pets.
With over 30 years of film marketing experience, Hagen is an entertainment industry veteran who came to Universal in 2006 after running her own partnership marketing agency, The Hagen Company, where she worked with clients such as Universal Pictures & Focus Features, Sony Pictures, Warner Bros. Lionsgate, and Paramount Pictures. Her career spans media, publicity, promotions, and global marketing duties at studios such as Orion Pictures, MGM/UA, Fox Searchlight Pictures, and IMAX Corporation.
