BROOKLYN, USA // Ru Murakami Yun is the VP, Head of Consumer Marketing at BSE Global - the parent company of Barclays Center, the Brooklyn Nets, the Long Island Nets, NetsGC, and the WNBA New York Liberty. A born and raised New Yorker, Ru has been attending theater, museums, and sporting events her whole life and turned her passion into a career in live events. Having grown up admiring and learning from NYC ad exec parents, it was inevitable she would start her career in advertising. She advanced into marketing leadership positions with legacy brands Madison Square Garden, Sotheby’s and Barneys New York. In her 20+ years in the biz, she estimates she has sold over 15 million live event tickets and delivered 15 million unforgettable experiences. Ru was lucky to have lived and worked in Hawaii and now calls New Jersey her home where she lives with her husband, 2 children and Siberian cat.
