AMSTERDAM, NETHERLANDS // From a very early age, Ton has been passionate about computer graphics and film. Starting as a very young graphic artist, in the late 80’s/ early 90’s, he quickly was recognised as one of the main talents in that scene. It never occurred to him that these were the first steps towards a career in Motion-Graphics, Film and Visual Effects.

After being accepted in Art School in 1993, Ton graduated as a Master of Arts in Image Synthesis & Computer Animation at The University of Portsmouth.

He then proceeded as a Motion Designer for national television. In 1998 Ton first picked up a Wacom pen connect to a Visual Effects system and never let go. After starting at a small local company he was asked to join leading VFX company Hectic Electric. There he was able to fully develop his skills as an artist & VFX Supervisor and worked on numerous award winning TV commercials and Films.

In 2007, Ton decided to set up his own company. Ambassadors in Amsterdam. A creative studio where he could fully develop and create the perfect atmosphere to drive creativity and technical innovation for moving images. Ambassadors quickly became Amsterdam’s biggest and leading creative studio. Since it’s inception the studio has seen a healthy growth and currently has over 50 people working with international brands, agencies and production companies. With the Ambassadors team, Ton has added value to countless award winning commercials and is always striving to continue to do so.
