LOS ANGELES, USA // Artist Wren Waters originally studied engineering at University of California, Santa Barbara earning a B.S. degree in Electrical engineering. After designing circuit boards in his cubicle for a few months, Wren knew he needed more creativity and eventually found creative and technical fulfillment working in the world of visual effects.

As a senior Flame Artist in 2005 Waters cofounded, Therapy Studios, an independent creative post-production house in West Los Angeles.

Today, Wren leads a team of artists and oversees the creative finishing department at Therapy Studios.

Wren is regarded as one of the preeminent creative finishing artists in Los Angeles and is in constant demand by top agencies like Chiat Day, David & Goliath, Deutsch, DDB and 180LA for such global brands including Chrysler, Ford, Kia, Activision, Playstation and Samsung.

Although Wren enjoys perfecting the 30-second commercial, he has also contributed his talents to many long-form projects. Including some of his own Therapy Studios productions including Transcendent Man, Sound City, and HBO’s Sonic Highways.

When Wren is not working he enjoys playing with his 3 daughters, surfing, and playing piano.
