Dating culture runs on social codes. “Red flags” dominate feeds and comment sections. Knorr introduced a counter-code: cooking as a green flag — a signal of care, independence and maturity.
With #𝐔𝐧𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐤𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧𝐅𝐥𝐚𝐠, Knorr didn’t post about cooking. It activated it.
On Tinder, Cooking became a one-click profile interest, 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐚 𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦 𝐛𝐞𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐨𝐫. On TikTok, creators turned that behavior into stories: street interviews about red vs green flags, first-date dishes, and diary-style follow-ups documenting real matches.
Social-specific tools powered the scale: Branded Mission invited the community to participate; Spark Ads amplified authentic creator posts; TopView and Pulse ensured contextual visibility within dating and cooking conversations.
Launched around Valentine’s Day, the campaign demonstrated how social media can convert insight into interaction, interaction into culture, and culture into measurable brand movement.
