NEW YORK, USA // As a non-examplary Brazilian, Bruno replaced the traditional Brazilian samba & soccer with rock & BJJ (Brazilian Jiu- Jitsu) through his childhood. He worked in advertising agencies in Europe for a while before he landed in the US. Between Chicago, NYC and Miami, he’s been in the US for 14 years, where he became an American citizen. His wife is from San Diego, a MD/MBA Psychiatrist, and no, he was never her patient in case you are wondering. He lives in NJ and commutes to NYC. He is addicted to making things with his hands, like knives and axes, and had designed boats in his past. Bruno loves tools and always looking to expand his inventory, currently looking for a decent snow blower.
Idea-centered work with a high level of craft is Bruno’s thing. Bruno absolutely loves his job. It allowed him to create things like glasses that help color blind people to see color for the first time, while selling paint; or like a book cover that hacks the most known pregnancy book of all times, while highlighting healthcare pregnancy struggles for black moms. Collaborating with and learning from people with different backgrounds has enabled his work to be recognized by national and international award shows, an ever-growing collection of trophies that makes him proud. Bruno currently leads North America creative for VML Health.
