EL SEGUNDO, USA // Chris Hepburn began his video game career in 1995 at Activision, editing cutscenes for FMV games and ultimately building the foundation for their art services department. In 2000, he founded FNS Productions, a pioneering studio specializing in game capture and video post-production, collaborating with major publishers and developers. After selling FNS to Trailer Park in 2005, he co-led their gaming team until 2007.
Since then, he’s taken on producer and creative director roles at mOcean, Ignition, Battery, and Create, before joining Liquid Advertising in 2019. Currently, he serves as SVP of Creative Services, overseeing AV, Experiential, Social, and Digital Display for top gaming clients like Square Enix, Konami, Bethesda, and others.
An award-winning editor, producer, creative director, and executive, Chris has been crafting video game advertising for almost three decades. As an avid gamer since the days of arcade cabinets, he’s weathered console wars and the peak of E3, accumulating a wealth of experience. Excited to return as a judge after 12 years, he may not beat Double Dragon or Scramble on a single quarter anymore, but he’ll certainly give them a good run.
