STRONGSVILLE, USA // Chris Kaiser is Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for Cleveland Cavaliers. REG group encompasses the NBA Cleveland Cavaliers, the AHL Cleveland Monsters, the NBA G League Cleveland Charge, the Cavs Legion in the NBA 2K League, and the newly formed Rock Entertainment Sports Network (RESN). REG also manages operations of key venues such as the Cleveland Clinic Courts and Rocket Arena, the epicenter of sports and entertainment in Cleveland.
At REG, Kaiser oversees marketing operations for REG’s diverse portfolio of sports and entertainment properties, leading a team of over 75 professionals, directing efforts in creative and content, social and digital, game presentation, single-game ticket sales, consumer marketing and retail. His innovative approach has driven significant initiatives, including successful rebranding campaigns for the Cavs and Monsters, with a similar project underway for the Charge. Kaiser’s strategic vision focuses on enhancing the fan experience and optimizing revenue through collaborative, customer-centric marketing strategies.
Before joining the Cavaliers in 2018, Kaiser honed his experience with more than a decade in the sports marketing industry. He previously held key positions as Director of Marketing & Brand Strategy for the Phoenix Suns and Associate Director of Marketing at the University of Michigan. These roles allowed him to develop comprehensive marketing campaigns and strengthen relationships with fans and corporate partners. Kaiser holds a bachelor’s degree from SUNY-Geneseo, complemented by a Master’s of Business Administration (MBA) and a Master’s of Sports Business from the University of Central Florida (UCF). While at UCF, he was a graduate assistant at The Institute for Diversity & Ethics in Sports where he coauthored the Racial and Gender Report Card for the NBA, WNBA and MLB which examined the racial and
gender makeup of players, coaches and staff in America’s professional sports organizations. He currently resides in Strongsville, Ohio with his wife, Angela, and three children
