VANCOUVER, USA // Curtis Doss is an Emmy Award-winning Executive Creative Director with over 15 years solving visual communication problems across broadcast, brand, and digital platforms. His eye for design and obsession with craft was cultivated from the culture-rich world of surf, skate, and snow, where he cut his teeth creating wearables, zines, skateboards, and print ads.
From the inception of a mighty but scrappy DC Films in 2003 to leading creative agencies like Shilo and Bigstar, Curtis has consistently pushed the boundary between design and storytelling. As part of the leadership team at Big Block, he led the design team with a focus on branding and broadcast packaging, creating cutting-edge broadcast and studio show packages for Monday Night Football, The NBA on ESPN, the NBA Finals, the MLB on ESPN, and the X Games.
Today, Curtis serves as Executive Creative Director at Compadre, a Culver City-based creative marketing agency where he has spent the last seven years helping shape brands, grow audiences, and impact culture. At Compadre, he leads creative teams across strategy, design, branding, campaign crafting, and production building campaigns and broadcast work for some of the biggest names in sports and entertainment, including Fox Sports, Paramount+, ESPN, NFL+, and Lionsgate. Recent projects include the ESPN College GameDay broadcast package and a full rebrand for NBC Sports Sunday Night Football.
His work lives at the intersection of bold design thinking and cinematic craft, rebranding leagues, launching series, and building visual identities that millions of people see every day.
