NEW YORK, USA // Daniel Nunez is the Chief Creative Officer of THE•TEAM, where he leads creative vision and brand strategy at the intersection of sports, culture, and entertainment. A builder of modern brand platforms, Nunez is known for translating cultural insight into high-impact, business-driving creative.
At THE•TEAM, he oversees creative for a portfolio of global brands, including serving as Creative Agency of Record for Major League Baseball and Digital & Social Agency of Record for Casamigos. He also leads Social and Culture AOR responsibilities for Gatorade, shaping how the brand shows up across the modern sports landscape.
Prior to THE•TEAM, Nunez was a longtime leader at Wasserman, where he played a key role in scaling the agency’s creative offering following its acquisition of Laundry Service. Over the course of his tenure, he led work for brands including Google, Netflix, Amazon, Taco Bell, and Jordan Brand, and helped secure and build major partnerships such as Stanley 1913—including the brand’s landmark collaboration with Lionel Messi.
Nunez began his career in public relations before joining Nike, where he led global digital and social for Jordan Brand and later worked across NRG Marketing for Nike in New York City.
He was named to Sports Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 and serves as a Clio Sports, and Shorty Awards juror. Nunez lives in New Jersey.
