LOS ANGELES, USA // As Marketing Brand Lead for Animation at Disney, David Sameth supervises all aspects of marketing for the films from Pixar and Walt Disney Animation Studios. Since joining Disney in 2009, those titles have included Toy Story 3, Tangled, Cars 2, The Muppets, Gnomeo and Juliet, Brave, Wreck-It Ralph, Monsters University, Frozen, Big Hero 6 and Inside Out.
David began his career in motion picture advertising at Intralink Film Graphic design. As an executive at Universal Pictures, he created the advertising campaigns for Field of Dreams, Do the Right Thing, Jurassic Park, and Schindler’s List. He later joined DreamWorks SKG, where as Head of Creative Advertising his campaigns included Gladiator, American Beauty, Shrek 1 and 2, Saving Private Ryan, The Ring, Madagascar, Old School, Catch Me If You Can, and Anchorman. While at DreamWorks, he also served as second unit director on the Steven Spielberg miniseries Taken.
