LOS ANGELES, USA // Doug Landers is co-founder and Managing Partner of Greenlight Group, a creator management company founded in 2020 and built on early conviction: signing creators before the audience arrives and developing them into durable, premium businesses. Jordan Howlett, signed at two million followers, is now a TIME100 Creator with more than 50 million. Hafu Go, signed before his first million subscribers, has grown past 19 million and won a Shorty Award. Greenlight manages a deliberately small roster of roughly forty creators with hundreds of millions of combined followers across lifestyle, food, science, gaming, and entertainment. The firm has closed hundreds of brand partnerships, with partners including Amazon, P&G, State Farm, and Chipotle, and campaigns that have aired on national television, and has taken no outside capital.
Increasingly, Landers’s work centers on ownership: structuring his clients into operating roles, equity, and IP rather than sponsorships alone. He most recently negotiated the partnership that made Howlett Chief Content Officer of Blenders Eyewear, a first-of-its-kind arrangement giving a creator a genuine operating seat inside a national brand, with a cookbook from Penguin Random House to follow. He views that structure as the model for the roster. Landers holds a degree in Chinese studies from Duke University and worked in private equity before founding Greenlight. His commentary on the creator economy has appeared in Tubefilter, Net Influencer, Digiday, and on the Shorty Awards’ It’s No Fluke podcast.
