Tatu is also known for his work on the Imaginary Friend Society campaign for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, a two-year project that used animated films to help young patients understand complex cancer topics. This work was widely celebrated, earning two Cannes Gold Lions and Grand Prix awards at both ADC and Clio Health, and even earned a place in the permanent collection of the Poster Museum in NYC.
Named one of Adweek’s “29 Rising Agency Stars” in 2018, Tatu’s creative excellence has been recognized globally, with multiple awards from prestigious shows like One Show, D&AD, London, and Cannes Lions.
Tatu’s creative journey began in Brazil, where he became one of the youngest Brazilian creatives to win Gold at the Cannes Young Lions competition, and has since honed his skills at top agencies like F/Nazca Saatchi & Saatchi and Almap BBDO.
Happily married to his high-school sweetheart, Tatu has two teenage daughters and enjoys finding time to play soccer, guitar, and painting—passions that reflect his love for creativity and personal expression.
