NEW YORK, USA // Everybody who knows Felipe (Fe-LEE-pe) is aware of his passion for great ideas and how they can build brands and even change lives. That’s been the driving Felipe’s career for the last 20 years.
With an under-graduation on Advertising and graduation on Strategic Design, Felipe started his career in Brazil, working for agencies such as Artplan and Mood/TBWA Brazil, where he brought the agency first Gold Lions in Cannes for Kimberly Clark’s Huggies—Meeting Murilo and the first ever Creative Data Lion for Brazil. In 2015, Felipe moved to US and joined Area 23, and started his career in healthcare advertising. During the 5+ years at Area 23, Felipe won 11 of the first lions of the agency and 28 Clios, directly contributing to its creative reputation. Recently Felipe moved back to IPG Health, joining Tim Hawkey and Renee Mellas at McCann Health New York, where he currently is Executive Vice President, Group Creative Director.
During all those years Felipe has successfully developed remarkable campaigns for brands such Huggies (Kimberly-Clark), Coca-Cola, Lilly, Pfizer, Merck, Novartis, and GSK, being recognized with more than 100 awards in the most prestigious festivals, including Cannes, Clio, D&AD, One Show, LIA, and Andy. In 2019 he was ranked by Luerzer’s Archive Magazine #1 Art Director in US and, in 2022, top 50 D&AD Worldwide Creative Directors.
