ATLANTA, USA // Joe Sargent is the Director of Marketing & Fan Experience for the Atlanta Dream of the WNBA. He has spent over a decade successfully strategizing and activating programs and partnerships for brands across consumer packaged goods and sports. Joe spent two seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs as Director of Brand Marketing through the club’s first championship in 50 years in 2020. During his time there, Joe established structure in the Marketing department, leading a team of five and delivering $1.5MM in revenue through incremental programming and savings. He also spearheaded the club’s 60th season campaign, leaving lasting marks like the Lamar Hunt Legacy Seat and championing the club’s policy banning Native American clothing and accessories for fans at games.

After graduating from business school, Joe began his marketing career in progressive roles with Altria, MillerCoors and BeamSuntory. While at MillerCoors, he led the Miller Lite partnership with Penske Racing, Brad Keselowski and the #2 car. His work included redesigning the “Blanco Duece” and the video content series Bartender Brad in partnership with NASCAR Entertainment. He was awarded Multicultural Program of the Year for his work leading Full Court reFresh and two awards from MediaPost while working as the Brand Manager of Coors Light Multicultural.

A native of Virginia Beach, VA, Joe received his bachelor’s degree from Cornell University, and both his MS in Sports Management and MBA from Indiana University-Bloomington (Kelley School of Business). He’s a proud member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. and currently resides in Atlanta, GA with his wife, Erayna and son, Noah.
