LOS ANGELES, USA // Kenny Ochoa has collaborated with some of the most ground-breaking creators and innovators in music, tech, branding and entertainment. As a senior executive at Warner Bros Records, Sony Music and Sanctuary, his history goes back to the early days of music in film, tv, advertising and video games, placing music in influential television shows such as The O.C. and Grey’s Anatomy, early uses of music in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater Series and Grand Theft Auto video games, pairing Tegan & Sara with Warner Bros Pictures to record the Academy Award nominated “Everything Is Awesome” for The LEGO Movie along with groundbreaking advertising campaigns with Apple featuring The Ting Tings, Franz Ferdinand and others.
He also represented Metallica exclusively for 3rd Party synchronization licensing, a publishing joint venture with BMG and music supervised global advertising campaigns for Google and Samsung along with independent films and documentaries.
Kenny is currently Head of Music Curation & Creative Licensing at Snap Inc. where he’s built out a global music programming strategy and team for Snapchat’s Sounds and augmented reality products as well as a creative licensing path for brands on Snapchat and Snap’s marketing communications on and off platform.
