Kelley O’Hara is one of the most versatile players in women’s soccer. Across 14 years with the U.S. Women’s National Team, she earned 160 caps and was named to four World Cup rosters – one of just 10 players to do so.
A fierce defender and vocal leader, she played a key role in the 2015 and 2019 World Cup victories, scoring the clinching goal against Germany in 2015 and starting nearly every match in 2019 which earned her FIFA FIFPro Women’s World 11 honors. Additionally, she played every minute of the 2012 Olympic gold medal run.
In the NWSL, O’Hara won championships with the Washington Spirit (2021), scoring the title-winning goal, and Gotham FC (2023), helping lead the team from last place to champions.
Off the field, she served as a Player Representative for the USWNTPA and played an instrumental role in fighting for equal pay as a member of the legal committee.
Kelley hung up her boots in 2024 and has transitioned to life after soccer becoming a multi-hyphenate in the professional world, all driven by her commitment to shaping the future of sport both on and off the field. Kelley is the co-founder of O’House Productions, co-host of Just Women’s Sports podcast Time Wasting, on-air analyst for CBS Sports, advisor for World Sevens Football, and Executive Producer of award-winning short film, Ripe!
