The short-form documentary, Pass It On, captured hearts all over Europe.
It is made to remind Europeans, that democracy is a collective responsibility. We tap into our collective past, present, and future through the intimate relationship between grandparents and grandchildren. As a viewer you become a secondary addressee to the advice passed from the grandparents to the grandchildren.
The shoot itself became a democratic European project: Elders and grandchildren from all 27 EU member-states participated in the Pass-It-On-project together. Cast also participated in a Brussels press-conference and in press interviews in their home states.
