DOKI DOKI DOKI DOKI is a new audio studio specializing in the creation of sound and music for video games. The name comes from “Doki Doki” (ドキドキ), a common Japanese onomatopoeia for heart-pounding excitement. The logo was built from this simple foundation from a custom, non-serif, all-caps typeface. It is designed to create two different impressions. When viewed horizontally its structure is inspired by the Japanese roots of the brand’s name. When viewed vertically it reveals two players at its heart, representing the two player foundation of early video games.
