This idea tells the story of how Carta Blanca, a local beer from Monterrey, Mexico with a small advertising budget, seized a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to launch a campaign featuring a global celebrity like David Beckham for free. We achieved this by directly referencing the latest 'The Most Famous Hand Model' campaign from one of our main competitors, for whom David Beckham is an ambassador.
When a photo of Beckham drinking one of our Carta Blanca beers in a restaurant went viral, we recreated that same photo in HD, showcasing only his iconic and recognizable hand alongside our beer, and launched it prominently across the country's streets with headlines based on popular local insights.
