Young Black people are constantly being judged by their outward appearance. The black hoodie has become an infamous symbol of this bias, resulting in a negative impression of them in society, and permeating the job market in Toronto, and Canada. CEE set out to flip the narrative through reinventing the hoodie as a reminder to see the person behind their skin colour. Who I Really Am hoodies are a walking showcase of the skills and achievements of the Black youth wearing them.
