This groundbreaking material absorbs near-infrared light from the sun and converts it into heat, adding new functionality to clothing. Projects utilizing SOLAMENT™ have taken a different approach from traditional insulation materials, developing innovative wear with a lower environmental impact. For example, the "DOWN-LESS DOWN JACKET" eliminates the use of feathers and delivers outstanding warmth solely through sunlight. Meanwhile, the "CROSS-DOOR JACKET," despite its ultra-thin fabric, generates heat under sunlight, allowing seamless movement between indoor and outdoor spaces. Currently, many of the world’s leading sports brands are paying attention to SOLAMENT™, with some already advancing product development. Through this project, we are realizing our mission to "evolve fashion through material innovation" and moving toward a more sustainable future. Furthermore, this technology is expanding beyond fashion into various fields, including agriculture, architecture, and automotive industries. For instance, when applied to greenhouses, SOLAMENT™ can increase crop yields by 150%. As a car window film, it dramatically enhances energy efficiency, unlocking new possibilities for sustainable energy utilization.
