Every Thanksgiving the President ceremonially ‘pardons’ a turkey while 3000+ Americans are in prison for low level non-violent cannabis offences. We created PeopleNotPoultry.com, a website where people can read those prisoner’s stories and directly send a letter to the President demanding their pardon. On Dec 12, 2024 President Biden pardoned 1500 non-violent drug offenders, hundreds of which were Last Prisoner Project constituents.
