Utah joined the NHL in 2024 and competed under a temporary name during its historic inaugural season. Through fan engagement and community voting, Utahns overwhelmingly decided on the name Utah Mammoth. This new, permanent identity would pave the way for the team to craft its image and voice. With mammoth-like enormity and momentum, and Utah-specific characteristics and elements, the Utah Mammoth brand identity was created.
