In Colombia, football is much more than just a sport: it´s a collective belief. Refisal understood that fans aren’t looking for ads, they´re looking for hope. The brand activated a cultural ritual—throwing salt over the left shoulder—making it a nationwide football cabal. By intervening 15 million salt packs, Refisal inserted itself in the vivid excitement of the game in the exact moment when the fans needed luck the most. Without official sponsorships, it became part of football culture. A simple, local and emotionally powerful idea that used sports to not only sell a product but to believe.
