As part of its DNA, Nike is committed to bringing inspiration and innovation to every athlete. In 2024, we used the world’s largest sporting event to redefine how sport is experienced, elevating victory to an art form: The Art of Victory.
Honoring Nike’s deep ties with French artistic culture, we took over the iconic Centre Pompidou, a symbol of disruption that inspired the legendary Nike Air Max 1, to create the home of Nike experiences during the 2024 Paris Olympics, where athletes were celebrated like never before.
Outside, the museum’s façade became a 5,492m² digital canvas - the largest outdoor sport showcase in Europe, displaying stunning visuals of world-class athletes, visible across the city and even from the sky.
Inside, the ‘Art of Victory’ exhibition honored Nike Air’s legacy and introduced A.I.R (Athlete Imagined Revolution), a groundbreaking co-creation between Nike designers and 13 elite athletes, including Kylian Mbappé, inviting people from all backgrounds to experience the future of sport.
We also designed countless experiences that activated every corner of Pompidou - from live talks with icons like LeBron James to installations like ‘Cycloid Piazza,’ a skateable sculpture merging art and sport. The celebration culminated in Victory Mode, a high-energy sports event featuring artists like Futura and top athletes across disciplines, ending with an electrifying Central Cee concert.
Nike left an enduring legacy on Paris, sport culture, and the next generation - where victory wasn’t confined to stadiums but came to life at Pompidou.
