On International Women’s Day, Liga F (Spain’s women’s football league) didn’t just launch a campaign. It launched a battle cry. A tribute to those women who simply didn’t wait for achievements to come. They fought for it, worked for it, gave their lives for it… they went for it. Liga F reclaimed a chant deeply embedded in Spanish culture: “¡Que viene, que viene!” (“It’s coming, it’s coming!”) and turned it into a collective roar for all the women who never waited for permission. To bring it to life, over 50 groundbreaking women from Spanish history generously gave up their image rights, uniting across time in a shared legacy of courage, action, and relentless momentum. Because what’s coming isn’t just the future. What’s coming is us: women.
