For Amazon's Fallout series, we created a microsite that transformed show promotion into an explorable post-apocalyptic world. Vault 33 wasn't just a website about a streaming series; it was an immersive destination built with our proprietary web tech that let fans explore the rich lore and expansive universe. The site featured Kyle MacLachlan, Ella Purnell, and Walton Goggins in character welcoming visitors to explore residence rooms, browse the shopping catalog, and discover expanded vault areas. The site kept fans coming back by drip-feeding new locations and content as the series premiere grew closer, building anticipation and driving online chatter. Each new update added authentic value to the series by letting fans experience life in the Wasteland and sent hype meters into the red before the show premiered. This immersive web experience generated more clicks than any other show page in the streamer’s history with over 1.5 million page views in the first month, contributing to the best one-week viewership ever for an Amazon MGM Studios show. It proved microsites can be more than mere marketing mechanisms—Vault 33 delivered an essential digital extension of a widely beloved IP, inviting fans not to just learn about Fallout, but to live in its world.
