For its Sunday Night Football Primetime matchup on December 15 vs the Green Bay Packers, the Seahawks were the first NFL team to host a spectacular drone halftime show. More than 500 drones took to the dark night sky to celebrate the powerful legacy of the team's fans, the 12s, through a colorful, fun, and immersive drone show at halftime. The drone show was programed to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Seahawks becoming the first team to retire a jersey in honor of their fans. The drones formed into colorful shapes of special moments in team history, such as the "Beast Quake," Legion of Boom, the 12 Flag, a decibel noise meter, Richard Sherman's "tip" play, the team's first stadium the Kingdome, and ended with the message, "Thank you 12s."
