Latin vibes don't need explanations. It’s instant - you feel it, and before you know it, you’re all in. That’s why, instead of making a campaign talking about the Latin vibe with Desperados, we created one. MassiveMusic Amsterdam procured Grammy-winning producer OVY ON THE DRUMS and breakout Latin star MICRO TDH to produce and release a new Reggaeton track and supporting music video. We launched it exactly like a new music release - from early teaser drops to a full digital streaming platform rollout (on a Friday, of course). It was the first output under Desperados’ new brand positioning, ‘The Beer with Latin Vibe’.
The creative process was built on authenticity - placing trust in the artists’ vision while embedding the brand into the track lyrics and track artwork, ensuring brand visibility without compromising credibility. The result is more than a branded track, it’s a cultural flywheel, positioning Desperados as a global, credible supporter of the rising Latin music scene.
Released on artist channels worldwide (1.6M+ Spotify streams, 13M+ playlist reach, 637K views on YouTube) and, and picked-up by numerous radio stations, the track also saw stellar radio performance with spins across over 130 markets. Plus, we received a request from another brand to license the track! The ultimate industry compliment.
The track was so successful that in Poland, a key market for Desperados, a remix of the song in collaboration with renowned Polish rapper ReTo was released on YouTube, gaining an additional 3.2M+ YouTube views.
