'Baatan Hi Baatan Mein' is about Aasha and Manoj, two strangers in rural India bound by an arranged marriage. A day after their wedding, Manoj leaves for work at a distant stone quarry, but not before asking Aasha for her phone number. He contemplates calling her but is hesitant. What does one tell a wife that they barely know? Besides, their our routines - his work, her chores - never sync. His workmate tells him to use WhatsApp’s Voice Note. Manoj's awkward first message catches Aasha by surprise. But that marks the beginning of a closeness built on stolen moments where they share the mundane, everyday details that deepens their bond. Slowly, receiving a message brings joy, not receiving one feels like agony. Over the months, through small, heartfelt Voice and Video Notes, their arranged marriage turns into a love story.
