The objective of the campaign was to highlight SURAs commitment with global biodiversity, the challenge was to recreate the national anthem of Colombia using the rich biodiversity of the country, maintaining its melody and tonality despite that animals do not sing in tune. The team started experimenting with acoustic samples from sound libraries leading to success, which guided them to the decision to record in the diverse ecosystems of Colombia. For two weeks, they traveled through different terrains and captured more than 700 sounds from 40 species, including birds, jaguars and monkeys. The melody of the anthem was constructed using these sounds, creating a version with no words but full of voices. The campaign successfully obtained 7.5 million impressions on YouTube and Spotify, 500k shares on social media and 325k in free press, generating conscience about SURAs environmental commitment and captivating millions with an innovative sound-based experience.
