Ovarian cancer has no reliable early screening test. Survival depends on awareness, and awareness depends on conversation. But for generations, women have been taught to keep gynecological health private. Family histories go unshared. Genetic risks go undetected. And the silence passes from mother to daughter, quietly, the way the disease itself does.
SILENT INherITANCE is a campaign built on a single reframing: silence is the first symptom.
The work centers on real women, ovarian cancer survivors, BRCA carriers, and daughters shaped by what was never said, sharing the stories their families never told them. Every creative decision, from the way words move across the screen, to the deliberate absence of music and voiceover, to the imagery of vast and restless oceans, was built to make silence felt before it is broken.
Because that is how it works in real life too. The silence is everywhere, until suddenly it isn't. And by then, for too many women, it is already too late.
The campaign was led by women on both the agency and client sides, many with personal connections to the disease, and distributed across film, social, and community screenings, including libraries, where silence was broken, poetically and literally, for a cause that demands it.
SILENT INherITANCE does not begin with a symptom. It begins with a conversation that should have happened years ago.
