Michelob ULTRA's Run Back The Miracle was a full-scale holographic recreation of the 1980 Miracle on Ice, on the original ice in Lake Placid, NY, where the game was played 46 years earlier. Through cutting-edge motion capture and AI, photorealistic, life-sized holograms played the game once again in full speed in front of thousands of fans and the original 1980 players themselves. Broadcaster Al Michaels narrated the event live. It was the first time in history that a sporting event from the past was turned into a live experience fans could attend again—opening the door to bringing other great moments in sports history back to life.
