As part of a 30-day countdown to his historic Paris Fashion Week debut at the Palais Garnier, 10-year-old designer Max Alexander shared the philosophy behind his work in a social media clip that resonated around the world. Opening with the line, “Max doesn’t design for trends. He designs for the fabric,” the piece follows his process of transforming deadstock textiles and donated remnants into couture. Rather than treating sustainability as the story, the film celebrates imagination as the true source of luxury. The video generated more than 138 million organic views across Instagram, Facebook and TikTok, becoming the defining chapter of the campaign leading to Max’s debut as the youngest designer ever to present during Paris Fashion Week.
