We knew Brenda was the type of cinephile who would LOVE Letterboxd, so we strategically launched an account where she could share her unfiltered thoughts about movies featured in the Scary Movie franchise, as well as ones that were trending during the stunt. Rather than creating a profile from a studio or brand page, we approached the stunt in Brenda's voice, which allowed us to be as authentic as real fans who use the platform. The goal was to create a profile as singular as the character, and with nearly 14,000 followers accrued on the account and thousands of likes on her reviews, the profile achieved that. The stunt was covered by social editorial outlets like FilmUpdates on X and organically picked up as people shared their favorite reviews on X, Instagram, and even via reaction videos on TikTok. With fans commenting under reviews with feedback like ""you're so real,"" we knew we had reminded fans of how fun the character is and that, even though it had been a long time between films, she was still going to make them laugh in the newest Scary Movie.
