For Amazon MGM Studios, our approach to the campaign was to take the studio’s 100 years of legacy and make sure it was continually growing online, both by gaining new followers and fans as well as engaging current ones with content that felt culturally relevant, cinematic, and shareable. A challenge we faced was how to balance the two audiences of those who are cinephiles and love the studio’s storied history to the pop culture obsessives who are introduced through Prime Originals. We built a system that housed both fandoms through social formats built for both audiences at once. ""In the Details"" gave cinephiles a reason to slow down and appreciate craft across legacy titles and new releases alike. ""Watchlist"" content connected new titles to classics, deepening awareness of everything across the catalogue. Our social formats were built to broadcast to fans, but our community management always existed to anticipate and respond to them. Our team used social listening to identify trends or new favorite characters, allowing us to jump into reactive meme content, like a post tied to Allie's Bangs that generated 145K engagements and 4.8M video views, giving chronically online fans a reason to celebrate. The results proved our approach works. The Facebook page grew 64% from Q4 2025 to Q2 2026, from 2.2M to 3.6M followers, growth driven fully by organic content. In Q2 alone, Instagram delivered 92.5M total video views, while Facebook drove 140.7M total video views. On X, the account generated 24.2M total impressions during the same time. Giving fans exclusive access to talent also paid off, as our Off Campus Custom Talent Video alone drove 545K engagements and 4.1M video views. The outcome shows that it’s possible to build a space for multiple audiences to engage under the same roof when, at the end of the day, every entertainment fan wants to celebrate the power of a good story, character, and fandom.
