Five Lights is Formula 1’s 2026 mid-season campaign, created to reignite excitement for the championship as the sport returned from its summer break. At its heart this is a hero film built around one of the most iconic moments in Formula 1: the five lights before the race start. Rather than focusing purely on speed and spectacle, the film takes us inside the minds of all 22 drivers in those final seconds before the lights go out. With each light, the tension builds as we move through moments of focus, pressure, anticipation and total commitment, before finally unleashing the action on track. Voiced by Academy Award-nominated actor Colin Farrell, and set to UNKLE’s Reign featuring Ian Brown, the film was designed to make audiences really feel the anticipation of a race start, rather than simply watch it.
