These games are played on their smarthphones and, being the preferred medium for 81.4% of gamers, they are more exposed. They become easy targets for drug cartels ("narcos") seeking to approach them through gaming. Movistar Telecom is a socially committed brand in the digital environment, concerned about providing gamers with a safe space. That's why they created a video game film, an engaging content piece that connected and delivered a message based on real-life events, all within the realm of gaming entertainment. With a video game narrative, they aimed to warn children and young people that getting involved with drug cartels is fatal, no matter how appealing it may seem. They also aimed to raise awareness among parents to supervise their children more closely and, above all, not to let the "narco" play with their lives. The danger is not only on the streets; today, it's in our rooms, on our mobile devices, and it has even infiltrated the world of the most popular and widely viewed video games. For Movistar Telecom, this is not a game. To try to counteract and minimize the growing impact of these harmful practices, they decided to act with content that appeals to the tastes and interests of the target audience: video games.
