Niantic, Inc. and CAPCOM CO., LTD, the provider of “Monster Hunter Now” which is a smartphone application that allows users to enjoy a real-world hunting experience, collaborated with Ayase, a vocaloid producer and an active composer for YOASOBI, to release a short version of a new song “From Now!” which was streamed in advance, exclusively on “Monster Hunter Now.” The lyrics and the music of “From Now!” were written by Ayase who is a long-time player of “Monster Hunter” series, matching the song with the world of the “Monster Hunter Now” game. Yasutaka Nakata who is a pioneer of electronic music in Japan and also active in the field of game music was in charge of co-writing and arranging the song. The music video was produced in collaboration with “Monster Hunter Now” featuring the characteristic of the game which is a confrontation of monsters in the city, portrayed by illustrations, CG and animation. Avatar of Ayase becomes a hunter, dives into the world of “Monster Hunter Now” and continues to struggle and challenge the monsters in a heated battle alone as well as with a group in group hunting. Music overflowing with love for “Monster Hunter,” and the appearance of Ayase as an avatar together created an exhilarating finish to the collaboration music video.
