Entry Information

Clio Entertainment is the original and definitive celebration of creativity in the entertainment business. Originally established by The Hollywood Reporter in 1971, the awards program recognizes excellence in marketing and communications across film, television, home entertainment and gaming.

This refers to all video games produced for computers, consoles, handheld devices, mobile devices, and online. This also includes any entries promoting a game publishing company, console company, or a collection of games.

    • Live-Action Spot: Entries in this subcategory are typically less than 60 seconds and consist primarily of live-action footage. 
  • Teaser: Entries in this category are for promos that serve to “tease” the audience about an upcoming release. They may be presented on multiple platforms and are typically the first audio visual piece released in a marketing campaign.
    • CGI Teaser: Entries in this subcategory “tease” the audience about an upcoming release and include originally produced computer-generated imagery.

    • Game Footage Trailer: Entries in this subcategory are typically longer than 2 minutes and include in-game or gameplay footage.
    • Live-Action Trailer: Entries in this subcategory are typically longer than 2 minutes and consist primarily of live-action footage.
