Local Weather

BROOKLYN, USA // Juliana Jaramillo is the Co-Founder and Creative Director at Local Weather – a creative studio.

Previously, she was the Experiential Creative Director at Giant Spoon, a full-service advertising agency that focuses on the intersection of creative and media through the lens of culture – named Adweek’s Experiential Agency of the Year 2019 and Breakthrough Agency of the Year 2018.

She has led key creative projects responsible for defining the experiential marketing field, such as Target’s birthing of the Pop Up store through their designer collaboration Pop-ups. More recently, she has created award-winning experiences, such as HBO’s Bleed #ForTheThrone at SXSW and its Westworld Season 3 CES dinner, that have pushed the boundaries of what an experiential marketing campaign can be.

Her initial training in industrial design combined with her diverse experience working at a design studio, marketing firm, and advertising agency, has given her the ability to seamlessly work across disciplines. Whether she’s developing product lines for West Elm, designing interiors, celebrity weddings, non-profit galas or immersive performances; her creativity takes on varied forms, with each design solution unique to the challenge at hand.

She’s worked for a broad roster of clients ranging from Google, Louis Vuitton, NFL, Revlon, MoMA, Marriott and more. Her contributions have been found at key cultural events from Sundance Film Festival to SXSW, CES to Art Basel.
