LONDON, UK // Richard Brim is CCO of adam&eveDDB in London and New York, one of the most consistently innovative agencies on the world stage. During his tenure, adam&eveDDB has won Cannes Lions Agency of the year twice, AdAge International Agency of the Year three times and last year it was crowned Cannes Lions European Agency of the Decade. In 2019 Rick was AdAge’s CCO of the Year and this year he was named Campaign’s Creative of the Year.
Recent creative highlights include working with world-renowned artist Celeste on the soundtrack to John Lewis Christmas (which has gone down to critical acclaim, with major performances including the final of The Voice); the first horror movie for cats for Mars, innovative in-boot technology for Adidas, the most successful game launch ever for PlayStation 5, irreverent humour for Greenies, its thirteenth campaign for Lloyd’s Bank and pro bono work for the likes of International Paralympic Committee and Great Ormond Street Hospital. Not forgetting Tukker the dog for the AA, shot entirely in lockdown.
Moreover, Rick is committed to embedding DE&I at the heart of the creative department to make immediate and long-lasting culture change. This includes Fresh Takes, a new approach to triple bidding, and a new paid creative placement scheme, First Bite, whilst empowering the department to work with the IPA, APA and CDA to overhaul casting and production policies. He is the current President of the Cannes Lion Film Jury.
