The Marathumb Challenge was a branded immersive experience that utilized first-of-its-kind technology to urge consumers to move farther than they scrolled. The app gamified scrolling vs. stepping, pitting thumbs against feet in an epic six-week challenge. If consumers’ feet moved farther than their feeds, they earned exclusive Saucony rewards. The Marathumb Challenge app was made available in seven countries on iOS and Android, bringing the experience directly into the pockets of thousands of consumers, and they responded; logging over 730,000 miles on the app. That’s to the moon and back … twice.
