Energy snacks have had a meteoric rise in Australia, surging 46% in recent years. To combat this, we reminded Australians that bananas are the healthiest natural source of energy, by turning every banana into a gym pass—something entirely new and synonymous with physical energy. On National Banana Day, anyone who purchased a banana gained free access to hundreds of gyms nationwide. We did this by uniting Australia’s largest gym networks, a partnership that meant every Australian was able to access a gym with a banana.
