The Mind Guardian is the first clinically validated AI video game capable of detecting early signs of Alzheimer's and other neurological diseases with 97% accuracy, available not only on Samsung tablets, but on any Android tablet, democratizing access to cognitive testing by taking it out of the clinical setting and making it available to anyone, in an accessible and non-invasive way. The app revolutionizes cognitive testing through an immersive POV game: as players explore an open-world city with scenarios and challenges from everyday life, an AI analyzes all decisions and actions in real time, translating them into data about their cognitive health. A cost-effective tool that breaks down barriers and enables millions of people to safeguard their own future.
CULTURAL BACKGROUND:
In Spain, nearly 80% of early cases of Alzheimer’s and other neurological diseases remain undiagnosed. This mostly happens because people over 55 (around when first invisible signs may appear) rarely undergo traditional cognitive tests, due to either white coat syndrome or to a general unawareness of the importance of doing it at that age. However, studies show that only early detection can delay the disease by up to 40% and provide up to 10 years of quality life. Making early detection accessible for everyone, everywhere, can help close this gap, benefitting almost 2 million Spaniards.
BRIEF & SOLUTION
Early detection of Alzheimer’s disease gives patients the opportunity to act in time and delay the impact of its consequences. The Mind Guardian goes beyond simply raising awareness — it enables real early detection by transforming clinical testing protocols into a more accessible and engaging experience. This immersive, AI-powered tablet game is available on any Android device, removing the need for hospitals or physicians. With a user-friendly UX and intuitive game mechanics, it democratizes cognitive testing, allowing anyone to explore their neurological health through play. As players navigate its open world, the algorithm uses machine learning to analyze every interaction and detect early signs of Alzheimer’s and other neurological diseases with 97% accuracy.
