Onyx Collective's Deli Boys is an American comedy series that follows two Pakistani-American brothers living in Philadelphia who must radically alter their lives to run a drug empire their late father left to them, all while continuing to work at a small grocery, and hiding everything from the rest of their family. To promote the new series, Onyx Collective designed a massive barricade and facade advertisement for use on Sunset in Los Angeles. The ad includes larger-than-life cutouts of brothers Mir (Asif Ali) and Raj (Saagar Shaikh), and their Auntie Lucky (Poorna Jagannathan). The Facade element is a recreation of the storefront from the series, complete with a functional neon sign and backlit windows that host numerous ads for fictional product brands. The ad tells the story of the boys' life as deli clerks before their unceremonious rise to crime bosses clearly, concisely, and with unique visual appeal. The location at a busy intersection helps ensure that the maximum number of viewers see the ad for the new series. This entry is designed to capture the audience's attention by utilizing a storefront facade that will grab the attention of locals and passersby, both those familiar with the area and others. The immersion element of neon signs and backlit windows with ads engages viewers' imagination, and the impossible-to-miss focus on the lead characters ensures they will be remembered by motorists as they pass by.
